Robert Thorne has been a professional musician for over 25 years and has played lead guitar for some of Australia’s premier blues artists: Matt Taylor (Chain); Harper (USA & Oz Tour 2000); Blues Bus (Perth)…to name a few.
The Practical and the theoretical meet as Robert is also an accredited teacher (MMTA) and holds a Bachelor of Music Degree (A.I.C.M). Robert specialises in contemporary Rock, Blues and Slide guitar accommodating all ages and levels and also offers a home visiting service.
Sam Buckley has been a guitar teacher for 5yrs and in this time has taught in a variety of different music schools in Sydney and presently in Melbourne. He is also a qualified highschool teacher and currently teaches music in two schools around Melbourne.
Sam teaches most contemporary musical styles and is a specialist in blues guitar, slide and finger style playing. Sam has had experience playing in bands of a high standard and has toured Australia extensively playing at pubs, clubs and music festivals.
He is currently the guitarist with the band Dreamboogie who were the Melbourne Blues Performer of the year in 2011. See www.dreamboogie.com for more info if interested.
